*** OPENING DAY AND ORIENTATION will be held on July 4th and 11th at Road Runner Sports, located at 5553 Copley Dr. San Diego. Note: we will only be at this location for these 2 dates, then split into 5 different training locations.
We'll be training for more than 14 different marathons! Including: Nike Women's, Marine Corps, Silicon Valley, ROCK n ROLL SAN ANTONIO, California International, ROCK N ROLL LAS VEGAS, Tucson, Honolulu, New York City, ROCK N ROLL ARIZONA, Disney World, Houston, Carlsbad, Maui, Surf City and MORE!

West Coast Road Runners is a Running and Walking Fitness Training Program designed to help you train for all distances; including half marathon and full marathon. We are all about Healthy Lifestyle Changes! All of our 36 program coaches and assistant coaches are devoted to getting you in great shape. We'll get you in great shape in a non-intimidating, educational, enjoyable environment. All members receive day-by-day training schedules, Saturday group run/walks, Coached Track Sessions and educational seminars as we train towards any race; including ANY Half or Full Marathons you choose to train for; even our 'FEATURE RACES' the - ROCK N ROLL Las Vegas, San Antonio and Arizona Full and Half MARATHON - in December 2009 and January, 2010.

I did it, ran my first marathon today and I honestly can say that I couldn't of done it without your support and that of the other coaches and all the other amazing runners in our group. This day is one that I will hold as one of my top three for the rest of my life and thank you and everyone at WCRR for making this possible. You said that after I crossed the finish line I will feel like I can do anything and you are right, no fear.

I'm running for my life. WCRR has given me the incentive.
I am 62 years young and a Great Grandfather. This is my 3rd season with WCRR and I have no intention of leaving. With the help of WCRR I have lost 45 pounds and have beat Diabetes. I have changed my diet and lifestyle during the past two years. WCRR has provided me with a lot of helpful information during this transition. I've made a lot of new friends through WCRR and this is part of what gets me up so early on Saturday mornings.
The coaches are great and really do care about me. If I miss a week at the Saturday morning runs my coach will even E Mail me to see if I'm OK. WCRR gives me the motivation and training I need to get out there and go long and strong. Thanks to all of the coaches at WCRR. You rule! Slow but sure, Bob Worth -
A heart felt THANK YOU to all the coaches and volunteers who helped us all complete our training run and . Also, a shout out to all the speakers we had this season. They were very helpful. It takes alot of organizing behind the scenes to keep things " running ". Tony and I experience many "adjustments" this season. We may not achieve our original goals set in July, however, We are grateful for the life lessons of perseverance, dedication and for the opportunites to express humor in the mist of challenges There is value in going through challenging situations because it teaches you to appreciate the any ability to train and participate in a race. What a great feeling!! It was everything as advertised and more. I have never been a runner in my life and as a 48 year old "geezer" I never so much as participated in a 5K let alone a Marathon!! I joined your group in January with the sole ambition to run the Rock and Roll Marathon. I worked my ass off and followed religiously your marathon training program, as well as the outstanding guidance provided by the West Coast Roadrunner coaches, and it paid off in spades. While surprising myself weekly by incrementally increasing my distance, strength, and endurance during our Saturday morning runs, I also gradually increased my confidence to the point where I was able to enter into this marathon knowing that I had done everything necessary to complete this amazing feat, and by God I pulled it off. I'd be lying if I were to say that I did not have a little doubt before doing it, but I was in just about the best shape of my life and I vowed that I would complete that bad boy if I had to crawl across the damned finish line. I also must say, seeing all of the coaches out there along the marathon route, cheering me on during the later miles, was absolutely awesome and I think very helpful as well, and I did finish in what I consider a respectable 4:39. I am very happy and extremely proud and so appreciative to all of you who helped me to achieve this amazing goal.
