We are running together in-person as a team for this "virtual" event!
It is a FLAT & FAST course!

3700 Crown Point Drive, San Diego

From Mission Bay Dr at I-5; go to Grand Ave and head West. Turn left on Lamont. Go across Crown Point Dr and veer right onto Corona Oriente Rd. Park in the first lot on the left by the playground and bathrooms.
Race Route
-
Head east out of parking lot / R on Crown Point Dr
-
R on Pacific Beach Dr.
-
R on DeAnza Rd.
-
L onto bike path.
-
Stay on boardwalk to Fiesta Island Rd (mile 4.35)
-
At Fiesta Island entrance, turn around (will be chalked as T/A)

Return to back to the start (mile 8.7)

Then from Crown Point parking lot, go west on boardwalk 2.2 miles

Turn around at 2 houses past Braemar Lane (mile 10.9 & will be chalked)

Double back to the start/finish to complete 13.1mi.

*Remember: This is a virtual race so sidewalk and street traffic will not be stopped. You MUST Obey all traffic laws.

*2 aid stops along the route. PLUS you should plan to refuel when you come back through Crown Point parking lot at your car.
What to Wear

Wear your GPS Watch because everyone will need to track their own time.

Remember your running shoes, shorts, and a shirt too!

Pre-Run Agenda

30 min before start: Runners arrive, use restrooms, & warm up
-
10-15 min before start: Pre-run course descriptions and announcements
-
2 min before: ‘Good Luck’s’ and ‘Have Fun’s’ announced!

Aid Stations & Photography

Refreshments: We'll have an aid station for you, but carry your own fluid too.

Photography: If you've got a phone, then take some pictures -- It'll be a fun event to remember. *Also see photo link below.
Awards, Finish Line, & Post-Run Party

Awards: We will cheer for everyone that crosses the finish line!

Finish Line: Make sure you bring extra hydration for the end.

Finish Times: Start your watch when you start, stop it when you finish. Then you'll have your time and let us know how you did.

Post-Run Party: We can all go out to eat breakfast afterward!
